Privacy Policy
Last updated October 5, 2026. Independent site, not affiliated with TDLR.
Summary: Browsing Texas Mold Remediation doesn't require an account. We use analytics to see how the site is used and how fast it loads. We collect personal details only when a contractor submits our get listed application. We do not sell personal information.
This policy covers texasmoldremediation.org (the “site”). It explains what information is collected when you visit or use the site, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information Collected Automatically
Hosting and server logs (Vercel)
The site is built with Next.js and hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical request data, such as IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, referring URL, and time of request, to deliver pages, keep the service secure, and diagnose errors. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Vercel Web Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular, which sites refer visitors, and general device, browser, and country information. Per Vercel's documentation, it does not use third-party cookies and reports data in aggregate.
Vercel Speed Insights
We use Vercel Speed Insights to measure page performance (for example, load time and Core Web Vitals) along with the page, device type, and browser involved. We use it only to make the site faster. See Vercel's Speed Insights privacy notice.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-SZ0KN3B71T) to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. It collects information such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser details, and how you arrived at the site. Google processes this data under its own terms. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Maps
Some pages show an interactive map with tiles loaded from OpenStreetMap servers. Your browser requests those tiles directly, so OpenStreetMap receives your IP address and browser information. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
Information You Choose to Provide
Contractor “get listed” applications
If you apply to be a featured contractor, we collect what you enter on the form: business name, contact name, email, phone, business address, TDLR license number and type, counties served, website, Google Business Profile URL (optional), years in business, and any message. These applications are stored in our database provider, Airtable (see Airtable's privacy policy). We use them to review your license, contact you about your application, and publish a featured listing if approved. Approved listings show business details, such as name, phone, address, and license information, publicly on the site.
Phone calls
Phone numbers on the site, including (512) 522-6796 and featured contractor numbers, are answered outside this website. As explained on our About page, a call may connect you with a listed or partner mold professional. The business that answers will receive your phone number and anything you share on the call, and its own privacy practices apply.
Public License Data
Our directory shows license information that TDLR makes public, such as licensee names, license numbers, status, expiration dates, and county. See our methodology for details. To change how your license record appears, update it with TDLR. Our copy refreshes from TDLR weekly.
How We Use Information
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
- To understand which content is useful and improve pages and performance.
- To review and respond to contractor applications and maintain featured listings.
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers named on this page, which process it to run the site, or when the law requires it.
Your Choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or a content blocker.
- Contractors can ask us to update or remove a get listed application or featured listing by calling (512) 522-6796.
Data Retention and Security
Analytics data is kept according to each provider's retention settings. Contractor applications are kept while a listing is under review or active, or until you ask us to remove them. We rely on our providers' security measures and limit access to the people who run the site. No internet transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children's Privacy
The site is meant for adults dealing with property and mold issues. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Links to Other Sites
We link to TDLR, Texas statutes, federal agencies, and contractor websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.
Changes and Contact
We may update this policy as the site changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. For privacy questions or requests, call (512) 522-6796.
